I5 August- INDIA INDEPENDENCE DAY. Independence Day is annually celebrated on 15 August, as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation’s independence.
13 August- INTERNATIONAL LEFT HANDERS DAY. International Left Handers Day is observed annually on August 13 to celebrate the uniqueness and differences of the left handers. It was created to celebrate certain people’s sinistrality and raise awareness of the advantages and disadvantages of being left-handed in a predominantly right handed world.
12 August- INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY. International Youth Day is an awareness day designated by the United Nations. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to a given set of cultural and legal issues surrounding youth.
